Shipping & logistics

Every order ships or is handed off in a way that keeps fruit and must cold from our dock to your cellar. Here's exactly how that works.

Refrigerated freight

Fresh fruit and frozen must move by refrigerated (reefer) freight held at cellar temperature the whole route. We ship Monday through Wednesday so nothing sits in a terminal over the weekend.

Freight is a flat $24.00 and is free on orders over $200. Sales tax is calculated at 9.25% for California orders.

Pickup in Livermore

Skip freight entirely and collect your order directly from our facility at 6951 Southfront Road, Livermore, CA 94551. Pickup is free and available seven days a week during harvest (September–November) and Monday through Saturday the rest of the year.

Lead times

In-stock supplies and bulk wine typically ship within 1–2 business days. Fresh fruit pre-orders are scheduled around the pick date for your variety — usually confirmed by email about ten days ahead, then packed and shipped the same day it's picked.

Packaging

Fresh fruit ships field-sorted in ventilated lug boxes inside insulated, gel-packed cartons. Frozen must ships in sealed pails packed with dry ice. Supplies and equipment ship in standard cartons via ground service.

Harvest-season scheduling

Between September and November, freight and pickup slots are booked around active picks, so exact ship dates can shift with weather and Brix readings. We'll always confirm your firm date by email before the crew rolls — see the harvest calendar for estimated windows by variety.
